Nothing like an EME 50 ejecting itself from the firewall, huh?

My DLE 35 has been flawless so far. I've got 20 flights on it with no engine issues at all. There are a couple other guys flying DLE 35 at my field and neither of them have had any issues either. There are a few guys flying DLE 30's that have had some dead sticks, but that's a completely different engine. The DLE 35 fits perfectly inside the cowl of this airframe.

Yes, I know there's nothing wrong with the 35 RA.

The ones I mentioned are a buddy's that keep flaming out due to overheating in the tight closed cowl and/or flying it full throttle too early in the break in process.

Re-maidened yesterday after the engine-cowl mods, 3 flights - engine is cool at 100 C full throttle. Making good speed with a Metts 18x10 @ 7,000, I have to sort out an air leak in the retract system and then on to some serious scale aerobatics

I would like to get one of these but I'm concerned about the retracts. Has anyone tried air retracts from robart or e-flite maybe for a b25? Also how does the DLE 35RA fit? How much of the cowl needs to be cut?

SMK,
Keep away from the ESM electrics for the time being. Mine are ESM air up- air down made for the ESM B-25 and work well. The Robart tri-gear set for the TF Cessna-310 should fit too.

Erm ... so what up with the front gear in the above video?
At the field I noticed a leak in the air lines from the valve to the front retract so I did a quick fix by isolating the front gear from the rest of the air system and keeping it locked down.
