I have a Laser 300 twin. I'm using a 24oz tank with two clunks and a vent line for the fuel supply. I need to think of a way to add a fourth (fill) line. Any one have an idea? thank you.

Can't you use one of the clunk lines to fuel and de-fuel? Use a fuel dot to plug off the fill line.

What if you added a fitting to the bottom rear of the tank for your fill line? Then make sure the fuel dot is higher than the tank. Never done this. Only downside if that line comes off or if the fitting leaks then fuel everywhere you do not want it.

I won't have access to the fuel lines once the cowl is on. So thats the reason for the separate fill line. I can add a nipple to the tank, I suppose. I'm using a Dubro tank. It's suspended inverted in the front of the cowl. I would have used two separate tanks per Laser's instructions but I don't have room.

Does the Laser have separate feeds to twin carbs? Why couldn't you just T off the main fuel line and use the second clunk line for fill and drain?

I could use a T but I worry about one carb drawing more fuel and starving the other. Others I've spoken with all use a separate clunk. I know that works with no issues.

Dreamworks sells tank fittings. you can put this in the top of the tank and use it as an overflow or put it in the bottom and use it as a fill and drain.

I could "T" off of one of the fill lines. My only concern in doing that is I'll flood the carb/engine at that carb. The cylinders are inverted so I don't want to flood one and get a hydrolic lock.

The carbs aren't accessable once the cowl is on.

I'm on my way to the LHS to see what I can find.

I have a solution. I plumbed the tank with two carb lines with clunks and a fill line with a clunk. At the LHS I bought fuel nipple that is threaded, has a shoulder and a nut. I drilled a hole in the top of the tank that was sized to let the fuel nipple thread into. Then on the inside of the tank the nut was secured. This arrangement compresses the nipple onto both sides of the tank. To prevent any leakage I made a latex gasket that fits under the shoulder, just in case.
