Hey Jaybird do you know what the center of gravity is on that BUSA eindecker is ? I have one I got second hand and had to work it over and recover it about to mount the motor but I haven't been able to find the cog anywhere on their website or anywhere else for some reason maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.
Thanks Tracy

The manual states 4-1/8" back from the leading edge which puts it just behind the spar. That's where mine balances with a Saito 91 four stroke and fair amount of lead.
Flight video (surprise!) can be found here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWAulGa3FL8

This is great.
So many fantastic airplanes and we are staring to get some exchanges of information and that's what it's all about.

Stunning.
Someone once told me to get that finish in the paint you have to chew up a 30.00 dollar brush, what's your technique?

The fokker streaking technique requires lots of paint remover because your never happy with the first results and its trial and error. Basically paint a base coat color whether it be gray or light blue and use latex. The trick is to use a wide two inch brush and take sharp scissors cutting the brush fibers at the tip off to reduce coverage and create streak lines. That’s the easy part…next use olive green or light brown and water it down. Take brush and stoke always in one direction and move down. The color should fade showing dark and light streaking. Once you get the hang of it its easy.
Some of my hanger queens. 1/4 scale scratch Sopwith camel and powerline hobbies 1/5 scale dr1 using solartex and this streaking effect.
