Default Difference of TF GS P47 ARF and kit?????

I have a kit built Top Flite GS Jug and the the gear mounting has had previous repairs that now i feel that it will require a complete gutting to repair correctly. I had an engine failure and emergency landing! I would like to hear what might be any differences that would prevent me from using a new ARF wing instead of repairing and adding yet more weight to the kit wing.

We have done this and the wing is mounted differently. It's not particularly tough to do but not 123. Also, if you think it is a weak spot in the kit, you should see it on the ARF. Both need to be reinforced rather well...............Doug

I guess im looking at a rebuild of the gear area then if the ARF wing isn't any better. Thanks for the response

If any one else has any ideas please chime in.

I am currently finishiing mine now. The wing mounts up pretty good but there is a gap between the wing and the fillet. I dont know if this is because of the way the fuse was built or the differences between the arf and kit. I would recommend mounting the wing to the fuse prior to adding the fillets. I know this wasnt the question you asked but figured i would add my .02

Then this is an ARF wing joining a kit built fuse?????? I always thought that the ARF was built from a kit but with some minor changes for mass production. Would you be able to post any pics to help clarify????
