Good guys shoutout
When a manufacturer bends over backwards to fill an order for a warbird pilot they deserve a shoutout. One of our war birds group, Brent, needed a replacement muffler for his ten year old Brison 5.8 in a Ziroli big 47. The old one had cracked and fallen apart after many flights. In an effort to replace the muffler Brent contacted several of the large muffler mfg
inquiring about a replacement. He received comments ranging from "not interested in that small a market" to "I wouldn't build a Brison 5.8 muffler if you paid me $800. You warbird guys are not worth the effort". Finally finding the source of the muffler from the original buyer he contacted J&A Mfg. who was happy to take the time to make him a new muffler and repaired the old one to like new condition for a very reasonable amount. I want to give a big shout out to J&A Mfg. for great customer service.
