At last I was able to test the engine in my old FW190.

Wow.. very nice engine set up. Which Mick Reeves reduction gear did you use? And do you have a picture of your set up with the cowl off?

With small holes in the front of the cowling and channels to the cylinders.

Menz 3 blade 24 x 12. Idle is 400 rpm. Max is 4200 rpm on the prop.

Yes, it looks more scale with a big prop. A 25" would have the right scale dia

I would say very much so! Do you have enough forward speed using 12" pitch at 4200rpm?
