Default Aluminum hinges for warbird models...

For more safe on warbird models I start to made two sizes of aluminum hinges.
This is new products on market, and I try with good price to made something interesting for all modelers...

Smaller is almost same size like Robart biggest hinges, and bigger hinges is for model from 2,8 - 3,3 meter wingspan.

To made one hinges in machine work shop should do 12 operations. I use special tool for brass pin, so no free gap, and every hinges have smooth and easy moving.

More information on: www.nsmodelers.rs or on e-mail: [email protected]

Nice product...have always wished Robart made larger hinges. I will definitely be looking into those 3 inch hinges.

What about the taboo on metal-to-metal contact regarding radio interference issues?

No problem with it...

On modern radio systems (2,4 GHz) no issues with it.
An example may be given to my friends Frank Tiano and Scott Prossen use similar hinges on their big P-47 without any problems.

The World Models has used metal hinges for many years in many of their planes including war birds with no problems. I currently have a WM P-47 with metal hinges.
