Default In-cowl Muffling

[size=3] Hey, guys...Thru the years I've used Pitts Style mufflers on my scale aircraft. Just bought a new G-62 with in-cowl muffler. Id like the input of those that use these mufflers: Do you end up having to cut out a a big chunk of the cowl next to the muffler? If so, I'll just buy a Pitts for the engine. I bought Craig's fiberglass cowl and would hate to cut away anything more than necessary. Thanks a lot!

Default RE: In-cowl Muffling

Noticed my dad had 1 of his mufflers on upside down (***** backwards) inside a corsair cowl with no exit holes. Stacks cut off. Works great for him. Nice looking bird. cheers
