The diaphragm kit for this should be readily available from a local small engine repair parts shop. We (Horizon) will be stocking these soon but currently we do not have these available.
D20-WYJ Gasket/Diaphragm Kit
I hope this helps.

RE: Horizon Hobby could not help me with Saito trouble, what do I do?
I have gotten the information I needed from Horizon now, and will continue my approach on using the elimination method to
fix the problem.
So, fly24-7 and paddcat1; I did finally get help from Horizon. Very good!
However, I would like to answer this input here;
I have already done that, as stated in the beginning of this thread.
Maybe the following sentence from the engine manual is of interest ? ;
"The engine is equipped with a suitable carb developed in cooperation with Walbro for exclusive use in the Saito
gasoline engine...."
And;
"If the fuel remains in the carburator after the days flying ends, the rubber components of the carburator
will tend to degrade rather quickly.....The parts of the carb made of rubber are considered consumables...."
Of course there is no access to cut off the fuel supply to run it dry. Not a common thing on a warbird.
What you could do is to empty the fuel tank while it is running, but......[:'(]....I guess one will have to
accept that the membranes must be replaced from time to time.
Some of the replacement kits have the pump membrane/lips made of a different material than rubber.....maybe that is a good thing.

take the carb off, disassemble it, and let us see how the membranes look. im sure saito would not design a carb that did not use membranes and diaphargms from the most trusted/used carb compay...walbro

I got the membrane set in-house now.
Experimenting shows that the carb is okay, so I will keep them as spares.
The saga continues here, See post 44 for status;
