HI TO ALL..LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE GREAT WEATHER FOR THE SHOW...I PLAN ON BRINGING A HELLCAT...MUSTANG...AND ZERO. THE CORSAIRS IGNITION IS GIVING ME FITS SO ITS GROUNDED....I PLAN ON CAMPING OUT WITH OTHERS.....

Had a great first day. A little slow going due to some inclement weather, spitting a little rain and some moderate winds.Got quite a lot of flying today. Some pretty cool planes out there!

Well gang, I just wanted to let everyone know that I've sent in the AMA paperwork for West Texas Warbirds 2013. The sanction dates still need to be approved, but the requested time is Labor Day weekend. Once again we will plan on a three day event, Friday, August 30, Saturday August 31and Sunday,September 1st, 2013. The good news is that Monday, September 2nd (LaborDay observed)is a holiday for a lot of people and folks traveling in from out of town can enjoy flying all day Sunday and travel home Monday morning.
I'll post again when the AMA sanction is approved and let everyone know its official. Happy flying anda Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!!!

Its official and on the 2013 AMAevent calendar.
West Texas Warbirds 2013 will be Labor Day weekend.
Once again we will plan on a three day event, Friday, August 30, Saturday August 31and Sunday,September 1st, 2013.
If you have never attended, plan on comingout and having some fun with us!
