Ziroli Skyraider Servo Question
Folks, I picked up a Ziroli Skyraider from another gentleman and it has Hitec HS700BB 1/4 scale servos on the elevator and the rudder. Thinking about swapping them out for something more current but wanted to get your thoughts on it first.
Thanks!

RE: Ziroli Skyraider Servo Question
I'm running 6.0 volts and I'm assuming the servos are about 10 years old. They seem to work fine and haven't had a problem with them after 2-3 flights. Just don't know if it would be prudent to swap them out.

RE: Ziroli Skyraider Servo Question
If it gives you added peice of mind than by all means go for it. Im not sure of the life span of the servo. How hard it was used before, was there lots of needed trim that kept this servo always working etc......

RE: Ziroli Skyraider Servo Question
Steve, yeah I understand they are kind of hefty weight wise. I just don't know the history of this servo... apparently from your post they were pretty good servos back in the day.
