I made a mold of the TF plastic cowl, looks like it came out pretty good, going to make the first copy this weekend. If it comes out nice, going to make a few more since I seem to go through them quickly.

Greetings All,

I lost my Nosen Mustang to a split flap and am looking for a replacement. I want the Fischer iteration, however, I've only found Javier in Mexico who's built one and from what I gather the build is free form without any instructions save the CG, not to mention the second mortgage required. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. The bigger the bird the better!

Thank you!

Barry

What you want is a 1/4 scale all aluminum one. You will need a second mortgage for one though, upwards of 10K to build one. Beautiful flyer though.

I miss my Hangar 9 "Marie" 60 size Mustang...She gave me 7 beautiful years. Right now have the Rochobby/MotionRC High speed Strega, and all the parts for the New 60cc Hangar 9 Mustang except the plane, engine (62CCEFI), and main and tail retracts. The RocHobby/MotionRC Strega has been worth every penny of the $199 I paid for it shipped. 14.8v battery and a receiver later I have a 120mph speed Demon.

Nice bird!! Friend of mine brought this out yesterday, TF giant P-51 with a DLE 55 on the nose. Couldn't fly it yesterday because the spark plug wire broke so he is putting a new one on and hopefully it will be out flying tomorrow! Maybe he'll let me fly it who knows.

Nice looking Mustang!
Original poster decided it was too much work, pretty much right after he started the thread; hasn't bothered to respond in some time (even though he posted right above you)

On behalf of the group, welcome to the brotherhood

Anyone have any pictures of the 1.50 sized mustang from hangar 9? Trying to rebuild the front end of one...
