Spitfire Mk XIV 1/5 by fokkeRC

Oh, wowwww!
I just realised you are also making a low back version. There aren't enough low back Spitfires in the world!
That opens some more types too. Spitfire Mk.XVIII is almost identical - at least externally - with a low back XIV.
Spitfire XVIII SM845 has recently been rebuilt after its fatal crash a few years ago, and is painted in a really good looking silver scheme: as it was with No. 28 Squadron, Hong Kong, July 1950. Google should find good photos.
Seafire MK.17... it has a shorter nose (short version of the Griffon engine), hook under the rudder, and the rounded windscreen.
edit:
added photo of Spitfire XVIII SM845, in not-too-large-size. I don't remember whose photo it is.

Yes I made MK XIV E and C versions, The version MK XVI is near to , but I can't understand what is the difference with MK XIVE ( maybe something in the engine ) !?!?

I think C and E refer to versions of the wing design. Between C and E the gun mounting options seem to be a big difference.

Lots of XIV and XVI aircraft flew with short wings (without wing tips) for low altitude work, or because a big wing was getting too flexible at high speeds.

The Mk.XVI was powered by the Packard Merlin (instead of Rolls Royce) and is essentially identical to the Mk.IX in external appearance. The nose of the XVI is thus entirely different from that of the Griffon powered Mk.XIV as well as the difference in the size of the vertical fin. It would be pretty tough to make a Mk.XVI out of a Mk.XIV.

The photos from Germany look good!
Which German forum is it? I didn't find it on the few that I sometimes visit (lurk). Can you give us a link? (I don't think they are in direct competition with this forum)

Fokke; beautiful work on the Spitfire, my favorite WWII fighter. Just a question, I am curious, what is the horizontal stab incidence set at as it is seated in the stab saddle?
I can't wait until you are finished with the Spitfire to see how beautiful it looks in all its glory!!!

Hi Roger , thanks for the good words!
If I understand correct, you ask me what angle have the horizontal stab? The stab have zero ( 0) degrees relative to the fuselage
