sorry I don't visit this site often .not sure what end you mean but it's .. 10" at one end(toward the tip)and 22" at the other . You should also know it's a very thick air foil , I am told it's a real floater but I am sure it generates quite a bit of drag and requires lots of power for lift ..

No need to apologize at all. I appreciate the information.
I've calculated the wing area to be about 1740 sq in". it is probably a little higher. Calculating the area of an ellipse is difficult. Mine should be right around 30 lbs with an Electrifly Rimfire 65cc outrunner on 12s 5000 mAh packs (perhaps 12s 2p for a total of 10,000 mAh if it needs the weight). With a 24x12 2-blade prop it generates over 5400 watts at just a few revs over 6200 rpm for a level flight speed or 87 mph. That's 190 watts per pound, 1.5:1 power to weight with a reasonably slow stall speed of 33 mph.
At 37.9 oz/sq ft it will be a nice handling model.

one of the reasons I used a Valach 120 inline twin was when they used a Da50 they needed to add 4 lbs of nose weight, that end up being close to the same weight as the 120 . with the Da 50 the plane cam in just over 30lbs
