Default Static Thrust Calc

Hey Guys,

Anyone know anything about the Static Thrust Calc that use to be at this link ?

http://personal.osi.hu/fuzesisz/strc_eng/

It looked like this...

I used that Calc a lot and really miss it. The link was broken about a month ago.

If anyone knows who created that program maybe we can get them to put it back up somewhere.

Thanks for any info.

Hey Guys,

So I found this Calc. http://adamone.rchomepage.com/calc_thrust.htm

It's not quite as easy as the other one it does give me a way to compare various props for a set up with enough info to save money when ordering test props.

I enter the known info for a real prop set up as taken by a Tach Reading at the field and then I can match the "Prop's Absorbed Power" by adjusting rpms as I input various props.

Once the Absorbed power is matched to the real world test figure I can gauge if it's worth trying that prop in real life.

If the pitch speed is too low or the thrust is not usable I keep changing the prop specs till I get the values I'd like.

Anyway, I'd love to see the other Calc come back but I have a usable solution for saving money on props when testing.

I guess if you are a numbers guy those calculaters would satisfy as a guide,
I would just post a question on RCU,such as I'm flying a ESM Hurricane with a DLE 35ra , what props have you guys tried and which one did you like best?

Then at the flying field you will find, same airplane, same engine, different props as each pilot has different perferences as how he wants the model to fly, how he perceives the model is flying and his skill level to fly that model. cheers - ken
