Default 1/3 balsa USA nieuport 28 stab incidence

Will be starting the nieuport 28 soon. I know many kits from Balsa USA require down elevator for level flight. Wondering what people’s experience is with this model. I was thinking about being proactive and raising leading edge of horizontal stab by 1/4 inch.
Any recommendations from individuals with this model? Thanks

It wasn't an issue with my N-17 or Sopwith Camel. That's not to say that they both didn't climb under full throttle but neither had the trim problems that are often described. I had an opportunity to examine a well loved N-28 this weekend and it didn't appear to have any added incidence on the horizontal stab. The problem seems to be much more common with the Fokkers, possibly on account of their thicker wings.
Just my experience, you mileage may vary.

I have heard best to drop trailing edge of horizontal stab by 3/8 of an inch
