Default Skyraiders ? 4pi or American Eagle

Anyone out there have any feedback regarding the Four pi or the American Eagle A1
Skyraider kits ?

Any help with this decision would be appreciated.

Thanks

Default RE: Skyraiders ? 4pi or American Eagle

I am not sure the 4pi skyraider is produced anymore. I think had around an 80 inch span. The American Eagle is around 100. I think it's the same size as the Zirolli. If the size doesn't bother you I'd recommend the AE kit. I have not seen the skyraider that they make first hand, but at Bomber Field, they had almost every other kit "built" there. They all look like very nice kits. The glasswork was excellent. And they flew well.....I have a 90 incher. It's a beater. An old Aeroloft kit that isn't made anymore. I think either skyraider you choose will be a good flying warbird. My vote is for the AE though.
