RE: Corsair
Got my Corsair for Christmas and it's awesome. Have already assembled wings and tail feathers. Have found a few boo-boo's in the instruction manual but nothing major. Plane is going together very easily. I'm trying to decide what engine to put in. I'm thinking either a YS 110 or Saito 100. Any ideas? Has anyone had success with these or other engines??

RE: Corsair
I have both of these engines and I have decided that the plane is so light I will be using the saito 100 and save the YS 110 for a heavier plane.

There is a big thread in the ARF or RTF section...

RE: Corsair
i flew mine for the first time today. 2 good flights. the second flight was dead stick and hit sort of hard. The retracts held up great. no folding or bending at all. I put a saito 90four stroke radial on it and it flew scale at best. but this is an under powered motor. any 91 four single should have it screaming. It was a bit touchy in the elevator and seem to have a rudder twitch. But the landings are smooth. It may even float too much. The gell coated fiberglass cowl is week and stress craked while drilling mounting holes. but it is VERY VERY cool in the air.
