Sea Fury flaps?
I inherited a 90% completed Direct Connection Sea Fury (60 size) before I cover I was wondering if I need to install the flap option. Witha 60 2 cycle I'm just thinking I'm going to need help slowing it down for a landing.

RE: Sea Fury flaps?
I dont know that you need to but it is a warbird and flaps can only help I always build them in some planes of this size dont really need them but if you have them they can be used. Better to be safe than sorry

RE: Sea Fury flaps?
The DC Sea Fury is not quite scale and is more of a low wing sport/pattern model that is shaped to look like a Sea Fury. Because of this, it has a lot of wing area which allows for a very reasonable wing loading. Flaps are not needed at all with this model. If you want to add them for another dimension in flying, go for it. But if you're concerned about take off's and landings, there no need. The model flies great without them.
