Default Choosing an engine

Hi, im building a TF P-47 1/8 gold edition and im about to buy an engine for her a Saito 1.20 but i dont know what the difference between a saito FA 120 GK and a Saito FA 120S ? the GK cost more money but is it worth it?

Maybe one of the two has a pump...
I've flown the P51 and the Harvard of Topflite...
I think all the TF kits are beautiful and fly wel...

make sure your cg is in the right place!!

the g.k. stands for golden knight it is a black glossy version of the s. version . there is no difference in the engines but one is black and one is silver

Also, the GK comes with gold plated valve covers, vs. the chromed ones on the standard engine.
And, as stated, there is no difference in performance and spec. You are paying for a better looking engine, nothing more. The GKs are great looking in my yellow cowled Corsair (see my gallery).

Thanks for the answers, i think im going with the S version its about 70$ cheaper then the GK version here in sweden

Corsairjock i like your corsair, the corsair is one of the birds i would like to build when im done with my P-47

I believe the GK version has a velocity stack mounted on the carb opening whereas the silver version does not. Also, the GK version dissipates heat better because of the black coating. There was a discussion about this in the engine forum.
