RE: CG point for the .60 size Hangar 9 P 51
Good day
As per Hanger 9 P-51 instruction manual.
The recommended C.G. location is
4 3/4'' behind the leading edge of the wing.
Hope this helps
Regards;
Todd

OK, I know it's an old thread but I have to ask. Since this is a tapered wing where do you measure 4 3/4" back from? DO you do to the wing APEX/angle and measure back or do you do it from the point where the wing meets the fuse?
I am at this point building my H-9 P-51 and I am stuck.

Richard,
I got a hold of a H9 P51 but I don't have the manual. Do you know the distance the engine is mounted from the firewall?

Engine distance is 5 1/4" from firewall to prop hub.

Just got mine finished. I left off the pipes because I really hate the way the ones with the kit look. I need to find something better.
