Thanks a bunch Magnum,it is an American Eagle short kit. 84in wing,CJ retracts, really flies like a sweetstick. It started with a US35 and now has a Q52. A lot of fun to fly....

When do I get to fly it, in order to see if it flies as good as mine? Ho ho.
See you at the field,

NOt to hoard in on the party, but there are a couple of Spits in this pic that kinda make the grade.

Vic C. and Jose G. own the two birds of Brit fame here. Mine is somewhere tucked away in the back, pretty ones got to be up front.

Default Spitfire sickness...

Hope you don't mind my letting you know that you have made me green with envy and lust over the pictures of the Spitfires.

I have tried without success to purchase a finished Spitfire but no one is selling any of the good ones. Therefore I am sweating over my Mick Reeves project and it is probably going to take me 2 years to finish it.

Hope everyone is having great fun!

Now that the Pasadena Show is over, I am committed to fly my Taylor Spitfire. I was fortune to place 3rd in the Scale Military (non-jet) category and there were other very nice static planes at the show.

Well enough of the building and detailing.... I am hoping this baby can last me as long as my fw190d9.

Jose, get the fw190 done and lets do some dogfights!....

Default RE: Spit

Guys,

I want to build my first giant scale spit. Of all the plans available...which one do any of you recommend? Platt, Yellow, Taylor, etc etc......I have a 210 Moki that I was hoping to use.

Tony
