need pic of FW190 D-9 flaps....
I need picture of the top of the split flap on the D-9....I have a "walk around" book, but no good pic.....I believe they were a stamped pattern on the upper portion ( inside of the flap), but can't tell for sure....making the flaps now for the Holman Dora and the one pic in the book I have is too far away to have good detail and with what I see on the plans conflicts.....thanks to anyone who can help with a pic from behind of the Dora with it's flaps down......

Cap,
the Dora had the same wing and flaps as the A series. In the late models, the flaps were made out of wood because of lack of aluminum supply.
Here is a shot of the flap pattern. The top view also shows the built in forward rake of the landing gear.

You can go to www.top-flite.com and down-load the construction manual for their FW-190 D9. There are some photos of the flap during construction and in the back there is a small print of the plans that shows the flap. Of course, this is not a pure scale model so it may not be completely accurate. But it is helping me modify a pre-built Pica kit.
