Default Zenoah G 62 Yellow P 47 combo

I just got a YA P47 with a Zenoah G 62. Flew it today with a TF 22x10 prop. Performance ok.. What is the best prop for this combo?? Do they make a 22x12 or a 21x12?? If so who manafactures them??

Thanks in advance for any info.

Try a Menz S 20x12.You can get them from Aircraft International.

I use a 22x10 but with a Menz or Bolly. The TF props are fine for temporary use, but the performance is markedly better witht he better quality props.

Afterburner, be sure you have your motor tuned properly. I've had two Y/A P-47s with G-62s and they were both very fast. I also fly jets, so if you are used to flying turbines most everything else will seem slow. Once properly broken in, don't be afraid to lean the needle setting on the G-62. The Y/A P-47 & G-62 is definitely a 100+ mph combo. At full throttle, the plane flew too fast for scale and looked like a toy.

Ditto what HotelSierra says-I have a Yellow P47 w/ G-62. I use a Moki 22x10-It turns close to 7K static and the airplane is WAY too fast for scale speed. I fly around the patch at 1/2 most of the time. Mine is very scaled out, and weighs about 29 and change. GREAT flying airplane-Lands like no other with full flaps-One of those planes you just feel comfortable with right away-Thanks-Mike Oberst
