why not a 4 stroke like a YS or something...with 2 strokes theres really not much you can do and still make it look somewhat scale... whos kit is the P-40 you have ?

Yeah i'd have to agree that a Pitts style muffler is about the only way to go... unless you want to do a tune pipe thru the fuse. thats what i did on my Fiberclassic P-51. and its got a inline twin.

Looks great !!! I am not starting mine until next winter , to many projects on board so far .
Did century make you custom gear or dose there standard gear work ???
I went over the kit and the plans and building seems confusing at times but the quality and lasor cutting seem real good .
THe outline for the counter balance on the plan is to low , it occurs at the top of the rudder and they show it at about an inch down .The counetr balances in the elevator seem correct .

Any ideas on where your getting yor markings yet ??
Keep us posted , the build looks great so far , good luck

Hey Guys,

I got a hangar 9 p40 and I am putting a T Tiger 75 in it. I don't want the exhaust coming out the side and wondered if yall had a good idea for a scale type exhaust for this arf. The motor is inverted to keep the head in so the exhaust will be on the side. Sure could use some help.

Thanks
