Default Sliding canopy help...and tailhook

Hey all, I did a search, and searched some other sites, and could not find a really nice pictorial on making a setup. Id like to do this to my ziroli f8f, and have it radio operated, probably by air.. we will see, either way. Like to know the easiest way to do it. If someone has done it on the bearcat, I would LOVE to see how it was done!

Also will be doing a tailhook, that moves in flight.. if anyone has done that Id like to see it too

Thanks

I get to see his work work from time to time.

There are another dozen or so folks in the same club who try to build scale models, but Pahtreek got all the talent when it was being passed out.

Wow, thats an intersting way to do it, I would not have thought of that one...Might be a little more complicated than Im looking to do, but we will see once I get to that point.

Any others out there?

There is also a very simple version depicted on this site if you do a search on the Global P47 . A modeler recovered the plane and made a very easy to use push rod set up to slide the canopy .

As far as Patricks work , I agree he has a ton of talent !!!!!! I have learned a ton just by visiting his site , nevr met the guy but he site is so helpful just by lookiing at the pics
