I have a p-40 that I bought from a guy and rebuilt it. (crashed) And I do not have the instructions and can not figure out where to balance the plane. I am pretty sure that it is supposed to be balanced upside down but dont know the CG guessing 3 to 3.25 inches. I am not sure if it is a old top flight or jemco or what. The wing is foam amd covered in monocoat and the fuse is wood. Can anyone help me out?? thanks a bunch!!!

1) unless the wings were replaced its not a Top Flight , they did not have foam wings .
2)Make sure you balance a P40 with wheels in the retracted up position
3)Provide wing span - I think Top Flight gold addition is 64" , I think RED BOX Top Flight was 60"
I assumed Jemco was in the 56" to 58" .

I have Ziroli P 40 that balances around 5" mark If yours is 60 to 64 inch span you are safe at 3 1/4''
