Default Kyosho Skyraider

Wanted plans for 40 size Kyosho Skyraider kit. Picked this kit up on ebay and founded that the wing plan is missing. If you have the plans or know someone that does please email me at [email protected] ( that's n_c ). I will pay the copy and postage fees.

Thanks,
Ron

Ron,

I think I still have the plans in my collection. I'll look for them tomorow and get back to you.

Hi Ron,

I checked and I must have thrown the wing plans away when I got rid of the box. I still have the fuselage plans however. But that doesn't help you. Sorry, maybe someone else has them.

Good Luck,

Wayne

Wayne, Thanks for looking. Really would like to build and fly this one. Put one together in Korea back in 74 when I was learning to fly. It looked real good and seem to fly real good in the hands of my instructor. Lost it on a dead stick landing on the second flight. Would you have any input on the pros or cons of the this kit? Thanks again for trying to help.

Ron,

I got the model from my Dad who got it from someone else. it was paritally built and I finished it up with fixed gear and a K&B .40. I made the exhaust exit out the scale location. It flew great with now bad habits. I flew it about 4 years until I lost it on take off when a cross wind gust got me. It was my fault. As to the kit itself, throw away the gear block's (redwood?) and replace them with Maple blocks. Other than that, it's a straight forward build. Mine was finished in early Navy colors, dark blue.
