Need help identifing what i think is a p 47
i just got what i believe to be a p 47 the wing span is 59 1/2" the cowling is missing but fusalage without cowling measures 43" and 46" with the already installed motor mount the plane is heavy atleast 10 pounds and air retracts on wings and tail the previous owner remover the wing retracts and installed fixed landing gear. looks as if epoxy paint was used to cover the only markings i can see within the fusalage say rc-19-4 top left fusalage and rc-19-4 top right fusalage. although it does need some minor repairs this is a very nice plane . Need help identifing so i can get a cowling and recommended engine ( i would guess atleast a 90 2 stroke ) etc.

this is an old "red box" topflite p-47. you can confirm this by looking at the sheeting on the fuse. the sheeting is 4 pcs of preshaped balsa glued into place. a replacement cowl is available by aftermarket fiberglass companies.

Fighter the RC-19 kit number matches whats written on balsa of fusalage thanks alot ..I paid 10 bucks the 3.50 dubro low bounce tires alone are worth that.
