I used the 5 inch diameter Du-Bro LightTreads on mine. After making some new hub caps to fake the Spitfire hub they don't look bad. You have to remove all the foam in the wheel wells in order to have room for retraction. Glass the balsa sheet on top of the wheel well for strength when you're done.

Oh well, I guess i was fed some wrong info and ordered 4" Robart wheels for mine. Do you think these are too small for the Spit ? Thanks ,Wayne

Yes, they are way too small. Send them back. You're not going to be happy unless they are the right size, plus in grass you need all the ability to roll easily. This bird will tip up on it's nose in a heartbeat.
