I am looking for the best place to buy Robart Wheels for my P-51. I want the nice aluminum wheels but I wondering if there was anywhere else to get them besides the Robart website. If you guys could help I would appreciate it. Thanks

Scott,
actually, Tower does not carry the all aluminum hubbed, solid tire wheels. Robart on-line or over the phone is about your only hope for those. For your information, I ordered the 8 spoked aluminum hubbed 4 inch wheels back in May and finally cancelled in June only to have them show up last week!!! Robart for some reason waits for orders to build up for a "production run". I guess I could have *****ed, but just gladly kept them AND the charge on my credit card....

Not sure what size your looking for but if you've got deep pockets these are really scale.

Scott ,, just a tip , if your not competeing/and or dont need the functional side of $75 to $90 rims with this plane and want to save some money here is what I do .
Take the standard wheels , either with treads or diamond tread -your choice . Get an empty plastic water jug , cut out a nice flat piece of plastic . FRom this cut the scale rounds to fit over the existing wheels to make then more sclale . You can cut small rounds that go inside the wells and with paint can look very scale or you can also cut rounds that show detail to the hub in any way you chose . Get aluminum spray paint , I use rustolium and its really looks very nice .On my corsiar I made the flat inner hub , added small beads of glue for detail and spary painted them to complete the process
