Default hellcat first flight

Guys, finally got spark in my g-26.Took my cmp hellcat equiped with a g-26 to the field, with the new ignition, fired on the first try.The plane took off easily with half throttle,a couple of clicks elevator and right aileron and she was flying very stable, which felt good since i had a couple of guys come up and say they fly like crap! They both apologized!Had a nice landing approach, had trouble flaring, did not have enough elevator,im going to add some tonight, she hit a little hard and snaped the music wire on one side.(stock)that wire is junk,i cut them down and had robart struts attached,i figured i fly awhile like that, then get retracts, but now that all changed.Luckily there was no damage to the plane besides a little dirt in the cowl, this plane was flying very fast at half throttle,im amazed at how powerful it is with the g-26,cant wait to add my retracts.I'm weighing around 12 1/2 lbs.It has not affected the flight performance, and fits nicely in the cowl.Motor runs great, glad i went with gas instead of glow,im so tired of messing with glow engines, all my planes are now gas, what a differance.

Excellent report Mike. Did you have to add any weight to get her to balance?
