has anyone out there found a site that actually shows a quarter scale merlin running , with sound not just a pic of it running , would love to build it but i`m a little leary of this motor`s reliability . any thoughts ????????

Here is a quarter sclae merlin, but it doesn't have any vid or sound of it running. I have talked to the guy who does the castings and it is over $2,500USD for just the drawings and castings. You will need a good lathe and mill to make it. Would be fun but I just don't have the money tree in the yard producing yet. http://dynamotive.netfirms.com/merlin/more_info.htm

one of the coolest things ive ever seen. its been around for a few years, but it takes one heck of alot of disposable income, and i don't think i could ever bring myself to fly it.
