Default kit cutters!

I'm in the process of getting together a project involving having a kit of the C-123 (palmer plans) cut. Does anyone have a recommendation on a kit cutter? Thanks in advance for your replies

most kit cutters do a pretty good job it doesn't matter really who cuts your kit if your into building most of us have to go out and buy a few extra pieces of wood any way because of one reason or another,I have had good luck with precision cut kits,Larry does a really nice job with packaging and identifying parts (everything is labeled) nice feature, ask who palmer recommends!

Default kit cutters!

This is a F.A.Q. in these forums and probably the the two most recommended cutters are Mace Gill of Aeroplane Works and Larry of Precision Cut Kits. There are many others but these two seem to get the most nods from these forums. Both have websites and I think they both list kits in stock. I do not know if they have your particular subject but I do believe they do custom work also.

Default kit cutters!

I am in the process of building a Ziroli Stuka, and I used a new kit cutter, because I thought the established cutters were too expensive, and I believed the risk of using a new kit cutter was worth the savings. I was not dissapointed. I too appealed to RCU for advice, and was contacted by "War Bird Kit Cutters". They impressed me w/their excellent comm., and there aggressive business approach. I ordered the kit, which arrived when promised, and was superbly cut. There were 2 small parts missing, which they promptly sent. The follow up was very good.

The missing parts were a mis-reading of the plans, which was an honest mistake. I don't know if they have your kit in stock, but I believe they will be able to provide it to you. I will use them again on my next scratch project.

They can be contacted at their web site, www.warbird-kit-cutters.com or, their e-mail @ [email protected]

It may seem, due to this glowing endorsement, that I am in some way conected to them. I am not.

Also, ALL of the parts were very precisely cut, and were the exact size/shape, and the wood was the highest quality.

Hope this helps, Bill White
