You guys may recall I posted a bunch of pictures showing the refurb from start to finish. I thought now I would just show the before and after pics. This was a complete refurb and rehab. All new electonics, ger doors, etc., and changed from G-62 to 3W-70. All that is left to do is check CG. First the before shots the day I brought her home:

Very nice! The wingtip light looks great.

Thanks again Gentelmen. The wingtip lights were something that I included that the pre-refurb did not have. I experimented with a couple of different methods to shape the lenses but ended up using a heat gun that we used for covering our models. The lens itself is a clear plastic that I got at a craft store that shrinks when heated. The trick was to apply just enough heat at just the right location in order to avoid distortion, etc. Took a couple of attempts, but finally got a good result. I used flite metal in the inside of the light housing to create the reflector effect. Looks really nice in person.
