It is an F model. I hope they don't ruin it with an inaccurate outline and small, inefficient flaps.

I hope the spinner is right, that will save me from making yet another one. Is that getting lazy or what??

The F-1 "Franz" also had the first eliptical wingtip of the 109 series. Hope they get that right too if it's a F model.
Most of all,,, I hope it isn't fat and pudgy like their Spitfire MkII .
Yeah,, I'll get one. Will be my third CMP warbird. The Spit and 190 are still flying. They are tough. Gotta give'em that.

They seem to be hit and miss, some of their planes look good and some are so bad its funny. I have the p40 I think it looks fairly scale, the only thing I noticed is the flaps for the radiator cowl are in the wrong place. The other thing is it flies like a lumbering beast, very slow unresponsive wing and airfoil, but its stable and slows down nice for landings. If the 109 looks as good as my p40 and not silly like the spitfire than I'm going to have to get one.

Buy the way I have a super tiger 2300 in my 140 sized p40 and it seems to be a perfect match for these 70" wing span CMP kits.

Hope they don't pre-apply the "inaccurate" markings (like those on the P-40) and seal them off because it will be a pain to remove those markings.

Now that I think about it, if they put out a F1,4 you can pretty much get most of the latter models out of it with a little work and documentation.

Kinda like the Gemans did to avoid productions slow downs.

I'm in the middle of building the CMP Focke Wulf and it's coming along great. I'm definitely getting the Bf-109, I too very much hope they don't mess up the "Critical Details and Scale. "

No specs or photos yet. Wonder what paint scheme it will have ? Doesn't matter I guess. We all paint 'em like we want 'em anyway.

They call it a 140 size which means its probably close to the size of the TY/KMP bird. I would really like to see what they put out. I think the T-6 and the P-40 look pretty damn good and I have the Hellcat but have yet to build it and honestly dont know if I ever will... but another large 109 in Afrika trim would be kinda cool.

I know that Jackie is very responsive , if you email them and and ask questions or post commenst on what you do want to see in the plane sometimes they will tell you .
When they announced the P40 they said it would be all one color and I sent them way to much info on why I wanted it to be a camo paint scheme lol .

One of the things that I do agree with Richard L on is scale outline , but I think unfortunitly it they can run this on the same line as the P40 /Spitfire you may end up with a Spitfire elevator like they did on the P40 . Easy to fix but a real shame to make such a blunder .

ALso they could have easily added flaps(P40), and the cowl flaps are way off as stated , all can be fixed with some mods and that is why CMP will need to keep there prices down , if they build them for us to tweek and fix , well they we wont pay much more then $270 .

I do like the CMPs line so i hope this is out by the time Santa is reday to deliver
