Yep that one is mine. The Wing short kit is pretty well done. I have a build thread on it over at rcscalebuilder.com so I wont go into a bunch of detail here. I have about 15 flights on mine, it flys nicely, much like most sport planes no bad habits. I used .32 magnum 2 strokes on mine and rarely fly it over 1/2 throttle WAY ample power. 25s are all thats needed. mine came out 19 lbs w/glass and paint finish. there is a few out there heavier and a couple lighter. keep the tail light, thinner sheeting back there and a few lightening holes in the stab Call Dan and Billie today and get one coming, you will enjoy it. get the former kit it will save you a full days work at the bandsaw. Tell them I sent you. Nice Folks! They were at our BBQ this year to see mine fly.
Happy building

don- how do the nacelles attach to the foam wing? that is new to me and i worry about the engines pulling off. i assume it will accept retracts? if so what kind would be best? how much does the wood kit cost-i didn't see it on the price list.

The nacelles glue to the balsa sheeting plenty strong youll see. It was meant for retracts Robart has a set. I made mine fixed as we fly from RUGGED fields and I dont need to throw away a couple hundred dollars. I spent about $100 on wood and bought my own from Balsa Usa, there is a wood list with the kit, the plans are pretty good for the fuse, the wing just shows where the nacelles go and a few other things. they do expect that you have built a few involved planes before There is a general instruction book, a book about working with foam, and one about plastic, all good guide lines If you go to my build thread on rcscalebuilder many of your questions will be answered and you will see what I did with mine

Take your time, look way ahead and you will have no problem with this one. Have mine built and ready to break in the engines. Used Mag. .52 4strokes. Used Coverite flat Olive Drab covering. Should you, or anyone else use this covering,, There is no paint to match on the market But you can mix your own. 1/2 oz jar of Model Master Marine Corp. Green #FS34052 mixed with
1/2 of a 1/4 oz. bottle Testors Gray #1138. This is an exact match and being Enamel, it is fuel proof. Thin with Testors airbrush thinner at 50/50, and it will spray on blemish free and is also flat when dry. Fiberglass cowls are available from Fiberglass Specialties Inc. They are the
4-1/2" x 7-1/8" Radial cowls @ $28.00 each. You have to shorten them to the length you want but they are long enough to use with 4 stroke engines. If it flies like it looks, it will be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
