Well, Fokke, I for one have been following this build from the very beginning and being a fellow model craftsman myself I really appreciate your work! So many R/C airplanes these days are ARFs and are built very poorly so I like to see people that take the time to scratch build. I bought this same set of plans and someday hope to scratch build my own. What engine did you decide upon for your 109?

ООО I didn't know it that you have plans of Aeronautica !!!!!!!! So do you build the airplane from this plans , and witch model from BF 109 is if you build ?

For my composite model I have only 35 cc gas engine ,but I hope to buy biger engine some day for her

Hi Fokke -

I have not begun to build this model yet.....I have too many projects right now but I've always liked the Me109! Yes, when I learned from you which plans you were using I bought a set myself I will put a 50cc - 60cc engine into it though.
My BIG project soon will be the 90inch W/S Pepino WACO YMF5 biplane and I would like to put the new OS 7 cylinder radial into her.

OK , the plans have several mistake and several differences from the real plane, when you start build her , coll me or write me here or on skype ( fokker6) will talk about

The WACO is a very good airplane ,good choice for model and as I see , you will use scale engine for her , this is a good decision
My dream is some day to use scale engine for one of my BF -109 E .I have too many projects ,I plan make one of my favourite airplane from WW2 IL-2, now I make my self the plans for this big bird and soon (maybe ) I'll start but first must finish with Mig-3 in 1/5 scale .

I like the MiG-3....very sharp looking and flying aircraft! Personally I am much more of a WWI aviation buff, myself! Fokker DR.1, Hanriot Dupont HD1, SPAD XIII, Siemens Schuckert DIII. I have a 1/4 scale Fokker Dr.1 (Glenn Torrance) that I want to build. I'm not familiar with the IL-2.....looks like an interesting plane, though. Good Luck w/ that project!

Where do you get the tiny little hammers for the elves to beat those into shape with Rumen?
