Hello,
I have the Meister Zero complete kit that I bought back in 2003. It was started by me and has not been touched in 3 years. Now that I have time on my hands, I have decided to finish this kit (retirement from US Army, 26 1/2 years).
Has anyone on here built this Zero and if so, are there any updated building tips or website building thread/instructions other than the 7 pages that came with it? The fuselage is pretty straight forward and it is 75% built. The wings are a little tricky and I have ONE wing panel at the 50% stage and have encountered problems. All of the tailfeathers/vertical fin/hor-stab and control surfaces are done and were a breeze. I am also in the market for a new/used Quadra 75, Quadra 100 or Zenoah GT 80.
Thanks for any and all help.

Hey Ken,
I have one and have been flying it for a little under a year now. As with all Meister Scale Planes, you will love how this one flies. I was very suprised on how it handeled. I actually did not build this one, but I will be happy to help you on as much as I can. I'm building a step-by-step manual for Meister-Scale on the P-47 and they both build very close.
As far as a Quadra 75, if you can swing a 100, I would go for it. The 75 flies the plane, but the 100 will really make a difference. You will have more throttle setting options than on the 75. Feel free to email me and I'll shoot you my cell phone number if you would like. I'll help as much as I can...
Good luck!

Ken,
I built the one PJ has and I have built about 4 or 5 more. They really fly great. If you need help e-mail me and I'll get a Phone # and we'll talk... There are some minor changes/Improvements I can help you with. The one PJ has was about 45lbs when I sold it. I think the Q-75 is plenty. It flew very scale with that engine and to me it was fast too... But I believe a GT-80 would be great too....
I also Have a Video on building the Meister wing for the P-47 That would answer all your questions about the Zero wing Too...

Hey Ken: You cannot go wrong with Miester Scale/Aero Accessories. I have been working with these guys on a different project and the e-mails and updates I continue to recieve are beyond customer service. Dino and PJ run a superior company. On the Zero there is a great video at the Meister Scale website of PJ flying his Meister Zero. I have been contemplating another kit but just may have to go with these guys for my first gasser.
