I have not built mine yet but I do plan on adding flaps. I will be using the rcv 91 so I reckon I will need to slow it down a bit before landing. Skyshark is out of the sierra retracks for the bird right now so i am waiting to for the backorder. I am really impressed with the kit.

Wingman,
If you want the retracts sooner, give me a call and I can send them out directly to you. Skyshark is closed for
a few week and I don't know if you want to wait that long. I'll let mike know I sent them to you when they get back.
Thanks,
Darrell Tenny

I built this plane two years ago and chose not to put flaps on it. BIG MISTAKE. I used a OS 61 FX engine which was plenty of power. This is a very fast plane. Two months ago I lost it due to radio interference over low power lines at our flying field. It was a great build. Enjoy.

I am not really in a hurry. I will not be leaving this desert till about august sometime so I reckon the kit will be patiently waiting for me on that side of the pond. The kit is actually labeled Heritage RC and that will tell you how long it has been waiting....Alan

It took quite awhile to finally determine that the bird I bought at the auction was a SkyShark F6F. I've been searching for almost a week. I knew that it was a 40/60 size bird however most of the threads point to the new H9 ARF. Anyway, this kit has all the basic designs that my bird has. (boxed in construction, air cylinder mount, and no flaps.
I've downloaded the instruction booklet from SkyShark which has a lot of good info, but it doesn't mention anything about throws or the CG point. Can anyone help out here??
Thanks.
