Where can I find a Fieseler Storch?
I've been searching the net for a Svenson Fieseler Storch kit; does anyone one know who sells them?
Thanks in advance,
James.

RE: Where can I find a Fieseler Storch?
Vmar have just brought out a Fieseler Storch Fi-156 with a span of 76 inches and length of 48 inches. They state it has working flaps (essential) and sprung undercart - also needed for the near-vertical landing capability of the airplane. Sussex Model Centre in England are selling this big model for a great price of £90 Sterling and I hope to try one.
Don't forget that the essence of the Storch is its slow-flying ability as well as STOL - Short TakeOff and Landing ability. While the flaps are a help, the leading edge slats are absolutely essential to this performance and unfortunately the Aviomodelli/Mantua model does not have them! The slats must have a miniature airfoil shape along their length and be carefully positioned out from the wing leading edge. Judging by the picture on the Sussex website, the Vmar model does indeed have the slats. The airplane is not worth having without these slats. I can't find any other photos of the Vmar model or the mysterious Vmar Homepage.
So if anyone out there has assembled this model or can locate the Vmar homepage, please let me know. I in turn will tell you all how I get on with the model build and fly.

I found mine on e-bay a couple of years ago. I think they no longer make the Svenson kit but they pop up once in a while, I saw two different postings on e-bay about a month ago. good luck!
