Thanks Ken....those look great!
Where did you get the exhaust? Obviously this is something Saito offers? I haven't seen, nor have I used anything like that before but I like it. Thanks again!

RE: New Hangar 9 B-25
It is the Saito Flexible Exhaust Pipe, a saito right angle adapter, and I tapped a hole in the adapter and put a pressure fitting.
The only problem with this setup is that the pressure tubing gets exposed to some rather hot exhaust, and will burn a hole in it. It burnt a hole after about 25 flights. I have just resigned myself to check it before each days flights. It still ran fine even when it was flying with the hole.
I love the way it looks. Exhaust coming out the sides like the real deal. And keeps most of the cowl intact.
Couple things about the saitos. You can do some searching on this thread and the other B-25 thread to do some research.
1. You'll have to move the engine forward to fit the carb. I used the included mounts but drilled new holes.
2. The throttle linkage was a bear. I ended up using flexible steel cable in a sleeve. It worked fine once I figured that out.
3. With moving the engine forward, I had to move the cowl forward to look better. Not hard. Just mount some blocks of wood
4. With the engines forward, i had to move the batteries under the wing to get the COG correct.
All said, she flies like a dream. I use 13x6 MA props. Pulls great.
Good luck!

RE: New Hangar 9 B-25
Ken, you're upsetting me.
I got the .56's in hopes I wouldn't have to move the motor mounts or move the cowl. Sounds like I will have to do both as I think both of our motors are the same in size. I guess I'll go to my LHS and get some of the flexible wire for the throttle. That part I was afraid would have to change.
Maybe my wife is right......"why can't you just be happy with the way it is"?
I really wanted the four stroke sound so I couldn't resist and now I get more work.....story of my life.
Thanks for the input!

Shane,
In my opinion, it is well worth the efforts. She sounds sooo good. IMO, The two strokes sound little and whiney to me (I know some prefer the two strokes, and think they sound fine.) I don't think you'll regret any time spent making it work....

Okay. Thanks Ken.
Turning the carb is no big deal. Will any of the flexible throttle cables work? Some of them seem real flexible. Never been a big fan of these, but even less of a fan of tearing up a firewall nd having to get creative to do something different.

I used the braided steel cables because I thought they were the right mixture of flexibility and strength. There isn't a ton of room, so I had to use a screw in type easy connector on the throttle control arm, put the cable through the hole in the easy connector. There's not enough space to put a clevis in front of the firewall and keep the travel consistent. there may be a better way to do it but that was what I came up with.

Also,
If you look at my pix closely, you'll see that I put the easy connector on the inside of the throttle control arm. I think this got me better geometry for the throttle cable.
Once I got it figured out, it went very quickly. Also, it is pretty easy to get the two throttles to have closely similar travel using this setup. Just be sure to use loctite on the set screw of the easy connector.

Makes sense Ken. In fact, the screw in type easy connector is a great idea. I probably wouldn't have been smart enought to think of that and forced a servo arm. I think I'll use the Dubro braided steel cable (20" and I'll cut it). They are cheap and flexible and I assume they'll be fine. Thanks for the help.

Well it only took a year and a half but I got a successful maiden today! Very happy with her and excited to get her in the air today.
I'm running the Power 46's, Pro 60 esc's and 5s 4900 20 rhino's. Plenty of power!

I will only have a short 5 sec video of the landing. Unfortunatly not more but that was my fault. I didnt get the camera man ready. When he uploads I'll share. I was mostly a lil over half throttle most of the time. Those flaps really slow it down on lnding!

Did any one else have a problem with the engine nacell panels that go on top of the wings? My were flattened out in the middle. I put the heat to them but they keep returning back to their deformed state. I would order new ones but im kinda worried that they will come the same way.

That's what i was doing. Now i want to get all the scale details squared away. I ended up
heating them and then using small screws. I'll paint the heads and call it done. Not perfect but it works.
