Has anyone tried one of these?

I was going to order a Panel line pen but I think it could be the same stuff as the permanent pen(?)

I reckon so,

I have been putting panel lines on my pak flyers for years with a permanent marker an they work great. It does tend to rub off the unpainted surfaces over time were it gets man-handled.

I think if you are flying with a nitro engine you will find that the panel line pen marks are more resistant to fuel than a regular marker. But, they are much less expensive.

I say give it a try, then give us all a report.

They will turn red in a few months of exposure to thge sun. Use a drafting, or graphic arts pen, like a Rapidograph, with "india" ink. Works much better.
