Hi Guys,
I`m setting up retracts on a VQ models 109 with a new Hitec retract servo and noticed that it does not travel the full 180 degrees. I figued that maybe it was binding, so I dis-connected it from from the retracts to find that it still only travels appox. 170 degrees . The problem with that is the retracts lock extented but are loose in the retracted position. Is there something wrong with this servo, should I send it back?
Regards,
Frank

I had the same problem with that servo. Burnt up two of them before finding the real problem, the end point adjustment on my transmitter was not set to 100% both directions. That servo will fry if it does not get to the end of it's travel where the shut off is.Maybe you have somthing like that going on.
