The RCS 180 are gas engines similar in size to the S.180 is a definite possibility.
I so you might consider the RCS180RE which should fit your application nicely as this is a very precision and compact "gas"engine--The May issue of RCM features a new pattern design of similar dimensions to your World Models P-51 using the RCS180RE and writes of his positive experiences with the RCS180RE

Although i have a Saito 180, I cannot tell you how it would pull the big WM P-51. it should be satisfactory. But here is what I have seen first hand with my close friends. One had a OS160fx. it pulls okay. The other two guys have a OS BGX 3500 and one has a Moki 2.10. Now those two engines pull the crap out of this plane. Very nice.

hey cyclic, I have a moki 210 for my WM mustang, still working to get it finished, wonder what kind of props your buddies are running on theres.
Hang 2, do a search for "WM GS" you will find a lot of threads about the mustang, from everything I have gathered the Saito will not pull the plane very well. I have a 160 fx in an extra and it pulls a lot harder than a Saito 180. And the large 2 strokes (160fx or Moki) sounds just like gassers, and are deeper sounding than the Saito 180.

Prop---I am not quite sure but i could find out. I am guessing at least an 18x 10? Like I said, these guys are my close friends and the 160 was "okay." Probably a scale like flight but the other two planes were leavingmy mouth open as they passed by.
*A short funny here. On the Moki during his maiden flight he came around to land, every thing was looking good on final. He lowerd the landing gear and it fell off. It was really funny for us who were watching. So he went around again and brought the struts up and did a belly land.
