I also built my wing in 3 separate parts, the two outer panels and then the center section. So far, everything looks pretty good. Today I finished roughing out the wing tips. This is what the beast looks like on its wheels. It actually stands a bit taller than my 40% Yak.

RACK,
I wouldn't sell you it if I was starving in the street. Plus it wasn't the way I built the wing it was your hot air that warped it. Now get off my thread and stay off. We don't want or need your rotten comments.[:@]
David,
Looking very good and straight. Good work.[sm=thumbup.gif]
Wayne,
I have had some help from some sources for taking out the twist. We will see what happens and go from there. Upon further checking of the fuse it turned out it isn't warped. It is OK. I LOVE THAT VIDEO. It made me laugh on the floor!! I've seen every smack on the head he has given.

I was told by cimara about this site for straightning warped wings. I tried it and now on my table thats flat the incidence on each side of the wing is +2.7 degrees on the right and +2.7 on the left. Here is the site. www.scaleaero.com/warpedwings.htm that told me how to do it. I put the props back under it and the weights at the setting it is at so it can't change again. It seems to have worked in my case so if in a week it is still there the build goes on. I will keep the wing in the basement shop with the constant temp. and humidity until it is time for glassing it. I will only take it to my shop in the garage when it is warm and dry. If the weather is still bad in a week I'll turn on the heat in there and wait until it's 75 degrees before I bring it up to check incidences on the fuse.

SO I have been out of town on biz (ugh). Anyways got back Saturday night and got to fly some on Sunday. Had a receiver go bad in-flight on a little combat 47 so I decided to send it off in an ol' fashion Viking Funeral. Here are some pictures, hope you enjoy. Thanks God it wasn't one of my IMAA planes as they all came home safely

Just wondering what happened with the progress? I'm currently building John La Belle's 1/6 Twin Otter kit, and already looking at my next kit. This is one of my top choices, as I am wanting a radial engine next. The other option is something with a turbo prop, but I think it's a bit soon for that. Cheers!

Hate to hear that about Barry. Had no clue.
As for my Don Smith F4-U, Darryl never did get my mains done. My Fuse is sheeted, no glass yet. Wing tips done, center wing top sheeted (no mains). Been on other projects and set this aside. Jets man, Jets!
Again I hate to hear about Barry[]
