Default Scale Wheels?

Guys,
My Dad is in the middle of scratching out a 72" Messerschmitt 109 of his own design, and he's asked me to find some scale 3.5" wheels that are fairly narrow to fit in the wheel wells, as the retracts will work in scale fashion and the airfoil is not very deep at the wheel well. He has a set of Robarts, but he'd really like something a little narrower, do you know of any manufacturers that make this product? Thanks in advance,
Eric

Default wheels

Williams Brothers has 3.25 and 3.75 inch smooth contour wheels. They are fairly narrow and mite fit in your wing. I used them in my 100" 109, and they fit. I know that isn't the size you want, but unless you are going to compete with it, nobody should know the difference.

Default Scale Wheels?

Thanks Tom, I spoke to him last night and he thinks the Smooth Contour wheels from Williams Bros will fill the bill nicely! Thanks again,
Eric

Default scale

I like "super scale" as mush as anybody, but,as my friend Don O, keeps reminding me, you have to look at what the model will be used for. Most of us don't compete, so we just need something that looks the part. Have fun with the 109, it's one of my favorites. Which model is he doing? Mine is a G.

I'd like to see some pictures when the plane is done, if possible.

Great source for truly "scale" ME-109 wheels and tires, Eric.
Good luck!

Should've sent you right to the ME-109 wheels, Eric:
http://www.glennis.com/germanwarbirdgallery.htm
But notice that these may be larger than what you're looking for. They start at 5.25".
Ah well...
