Split elevator on KMP Sea Fury

Hey everyone. I am building a KMP Sea Fury that I plan on throwing an O.S. 160 2 stroke in with a Pitts muffler. The elevators are designed to be operated with one servo driving two pushrods/control horns, one for each elevator. I would like to conceal this by running a joiner and internal control horn inside the fuse. These KMP's usually come in at or around 16 pounds, and I am leery about installing something that may not be up to the task. The only pre-made items I can find that might work are the joiner/control horn combo's from Brodak for control-line planes. They appear to be pretty beefy, the largest being 1/8th wire and four inches wide. Will these work? What is the best way to construct one? Anyone have any pics of their setups? Any help would be great. Thanks! -Chris Susicke.

My willshobby seafury is 14.5 pounds . I tried to do the same thing but could not find a good solid source .I would definitly seal the gaps to help reduce flutter . I ended useing a carbon fiberrod , wood dowel incert with heavy duty steel 4/40 threaded rods (2) glassed to the wood split to a Y thru the fuse . If you find that your internal idea works I would suggest switching to a carbon fiber interal pushrod supported internally thru out its length
