Default AT6 flaps

Althought I have not done this myself, several of my friends have with good sucess. The Midwest AT6 does really need a flap for landing. atleast where I fly on a relatively short field of 450 feet. You dont need all the flaps tho.. but the large center flap is usefull. Its a split flap.. if it doesnt show how to make it on the plans its pretty ease. You sheet the top of the wing and the bottom of the wing.... except... on the wing bottom, you add a Trailing edge where the flap STARTS and not at the very Trailing edge of the wing. This will allow you to hinge your flap Leading Edge to the wing Trailing edge.. Install a servo where you need it and your all set...... hope this helps . BobH.
