Default Hanger 9 AT-6

Just got one still new in box. Did search here, found usual=retracts need work, reinforce firewall. Most posts from year 02,03.For some reason I'm dying to overpower this plane. I have OS120AX 2stroke and Bison pitts. Will this airframe hold up to this much power??? Anyone using YS110 or Saito 125?? Something more than 91FS.

Be original. Wait for the new Saito 115 to come out. Bigger piston same stroke (roughly) as the 100. Ought to be a powerhouse.

It cooks with a Satio .91 in it, no reason to go larger. It's light and fast. Anything bigger and you are going to need to add tail weight. Order the AT-6 struts from Robart, bore out the original retracts and you'll be fine.

I'll try the Robart struts. I already have the OS120AX 2stroke and pitts muff sitting here from another plane. Will this airframe hold up,especially horizontal stab?? Reason I asked about YS110 is I thought speeds would be close with 120AX. I had not heard about Saito 115.

91ZULU, I believe you are right. This is really a good looking plane. I have OS91Sur11 I'll use and find someone to panel line, weather, and dirty this bird. THANKS,RACJ

I'm really disappointed that discontinued this plane. I ended up with the E-flite T-6, which I'm very happy with, but I would love one bigger and gas.

God Bless and good-luck!
